Spent about 4 hours after work detecting a park that I've hit pretty hard in the past. I tried a new section that I had not touched in the past but for the life of me I can't remember why. Dug over $6 in clad, mostly quarters , some odds and ends and 3 silver. 2 Roosevelt dimes and my first-ever barber from this park. I have dug Roosevelt's and mercs there but no barbers. It seems like I found a little hotspot because most of the other silver that I have dug there has been pretty spread out and these were all in an area of about 30 square feet. For whatever reason I don't think this section of the park has ever been touched because these three silver were all about 3 inches down and we're very obvious silver dime signals.

Congratualtions on the silver, relics and clad! :occasion14:

A three silver day is a Great day, Congrats!!

Congrats, I've only found 1 Barber dime in three years.

That's OK qaela4. I've been doing this for 46 years now, and I've never found a Barber dime. Nice silver 46Wheat! Thanks for sharing!

Congrats on your bodacious Rosies - Barber - 6 dollars in clad and other finds and thank you for sharing your pictures and story with all of us and I wish you many more great finds while out dirt fishing.

Congrats on a 3 silver outing & finding your first Barber in that park. They are a great coin to find.

Very well done. Congrats on scoring the Barber!

Congratz on 3 Silver! The barber dime is pretty awesome! What is the non-dime in the 3rd pic?

Sweet silver, , a mercury would have given you a trifecta. Maybe next time.
Congrats

46W you never know what's there until you swing your coil over it. Are there other areas in the park that you have avoided? Congrats on the great hunt. :occasion14:Too bad one of those Rosie's wasn't a merc, that would have made a sweet trifecta.

Funny how we can miss a segment of a place and just continue to do so, every time we go there. Maybe we're just saving it for a surprise for ourselves down the road. ;)

Nice saves!

It is an old concave faced button . The best I can tell it has a roaring lion in profile in the center . I will be able to tell better after I get it cleaned off

Not sure if I missed any other areas . When we get some rain I'm going to make a point of exploring the park alot more . It's funny when I do a private permission or a colonial cellar hole or even a open field in the middle of nowhere I'm a gridding fool . But when I get in a park with lots of distractions of the soccer mom variety I seem to get lost, walk in circles and miss areas of the park . Who knew :)

Sweet hunt, good work, go hit it again!

hit the old trees, rocky areas & virgin dirt. silver loves to cuddle tree roots

30 square feet zone - Nice!!!

Nice coins~!
