Yes, get yourself a rock tumbler and add fishtank gravel and water and a bit of lemon juice. Tumble the silver colored coins and the copper in different batches with clean water each time. A vibratory tumbler with crushed walnut shells (you should be able to get from a pet supply store) and some Flitz will polish the coins to a high luster again.

Congrats on your coins! :icon_thumright: And a BIG WELCOME TO T-NET! :hello: Hope you find more good things next time. I've been detecting for 2 years on the western coast of USA. The oldest coin I've found is a lovely 1923 Peace Silver Dollar which was lying on the surface ground of a field. It was not far from where my son and I had detected several times before. I found it without the detector! So whenever you go detecting, glance around to catch those "eyeball" items! HAVE FUN! Andi
