4 silver today & 3 were consecutive years
had a great day out today found a 1951 half penny 5 min into the hunt & not long after that a 1921 penny pops outta the ground
about 30 min later i get a nice deep signal cut the plug & out pops a 1944 silver threepence
then before replacing the plug i rescan the hole & get another hit dig a little more & out comes a 1950 silver sixpence
WOW two in one hole sweet.
things slowed down for an hour or so then i get a nice penny signal so i cut the plug & in the bottom of the hole is a penny pick it up & give it a clean i see 193- start gettin excited finish cleaning the date & a 6 shows up "dam" six years off 1930 maybe next time.
i hit another slow patch then i get a bouncing silver/iron signal this time it was a 1942 silver threepence beside a nail.
the next nice signal was a small piece of a cut penny then the last oldie of the day was a nice deep signal pop the plug & there was a 1943 threepence
so i got three silver threepence in year order 1942-43-44 & a 1950 silver six pence i"m very happy with that
.
the dime is for sizing just to show how small these threepence are.
