At work as a union ironworker, took lunch and was enjoying the shade. Figured hell with it i'll get some ice cream at the local spot. As im waiting i see the soda jerk take a second looking at the previous customers change.

Paid 25 cents for a 43 D merc. Personally shocked it was still in circulation. Wish it was in the ground but ill take these beauties any way i can get em

43 Merc pocket find!! That is EXACTLY what got me back into the hobby after a 15 year hiatus. I emptied my pocket change one night last fall...and BOOM!..beautiful 43 Merc..it got the juices flowing again and I got me a shiny, new AT Pro for xmas! Life ain't been the same since..lol..thanks for sharing..great story...ddf
