IMG_0540.webp I went out for two and a half hours at the soccer field I've been pounding and dug 44 clads worth $6.70 and while walking back to the car I spotted the $5 bill on the grass.

Nice hunt and that $5 is the best find of all! :icon_thumright:

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Nice hunt! The $5 bill is a nice bonus.

Nice hunt & nice bonus, not to often do you go out coin shooting & bring home a found $5 bill, congrats & HH

You could buy a few mercs or something!

you worked 2.5 hours for the rate of $4.68 per hour. Don't forget to report it on your income taxes

Ah yes, the good old days of $4.68 an hour.
When I think of it like that I'm glad the good old days are behind us!

I still have my old hand-written pay stub envelopes from 1971 showing 1.60/hour. And the SS deduction was then called "old age tax".

Nice!!! Congrats!!!
Thanks Digger.....

That's exactly what I do with all my clad at year's end.

Nice $5 find!!
Thanks Tuberale….

Oh yeah ! I'll report it...…..BUT.....I'll write off my expenses when I do. Gas to and from the hunt site, depreciation on my vehicle, detector, pinpointer, and digging tool, money spent on lunch, clothing allowance, and whatever else my accountant can come up with. The way I figure it, the government will owe me money. Then I'll send them a bill for the coins I dug and "recycled" thus saving them from having to mint an additional 44 coins.

My first part time job after school paid $1.25 per hour.

Not a bad day. Always nice to bend over and pick up a bill.

Thanks Roamer...…..got about 5-6 weeks left to hunt before the ground freezes so we have to pile it up before that happens.

Nice amount of clad. Good eyeball find too. Congrats
