I had the pleasure of meeting "Vino" this weekend and I guess all the talk of his LC's, well some of his mojo rubbed off on me :laughing7: Yesterday evening I got out for a while to a house site c.1820's and had a great time! 1st hole dug was the LC. I would like to get some opinions on whether or not to clean anymore, or just leave her as is. Thanks. After about 2 hours I had a flat button too. Some wheaties from the 30's and some other things. I also was able to save another dog tag, it says Virginia, Female, Dog, 1929. This is now my oldest dog tag by 4 years. Ps-the bullet was dug on Saturday when I met Vino. Thanks for looking and have a great day!

You have a lot of nice old finds. Congrats on them

It was a pleasure meeting you also TM..
And yes you can get a little more detail to pop on that LC..
Just take a toothpick and knock some more of that crud with it..
And way to go on the spencer..

Awesome! Nice finds!

My one and only LC is dateless toast.

Congratulations on the old copper find!

Yesterday, I found an old Matron Head (1816 - 1839), but the exact date cannot be read.

Thanks everyone for looking!
