1.webp2.webp3.webp4.webp5.webp7.webp8.webp9.webpIMG_6609.webpBack from a trip with my wife to the Philadelphia Flower Show today headed down back to redetect some of my hard hit creek side area. Along with another horse shoe, a 3rd brass curtain rod bracket, and another porcelain mason jar lid insert to add to my collection (photo included), also found 2 nice bottles. Along with a heavy ornate soda? bottle found a JONES PHARMACY - A. DUBELL PROPR.- MT. HOLLY, N.J. medicine bottle with MBW (Millville Bottle Works) MILLVILLE on the bottom circa 1912-1926.

Really nice finds. I plucked a mason jar lid and insert from the ground today myself. I have yet to dig the one attached to the jar full of silver coins. My town had several bottle making factories here but I find only some here and there. You have a really nice collection of bottles.

Nice finds 2moshers!

Nice, my home town, I have only found one Millville bottle. Good work again.

Hope this answers your question (paulb 104) 16112789_10202470941212981_2585041786685969377_o.webp16142626_10202504223725023_5744418410384658105_n.webp16427645_10202561464356003_6336786743002719270_n.webp

So you just go detecting by a creek?

I'm pretty new at this whole concept, but I would think that a creek would change its path over the decades, so finding things to detect would be ...harder?

All along and near the higher than water level banks of the Rancocas Creek paulb 104.

A creek, by definition, is a stream, brook, or minor tributary of a river.

Minor. According to Google Maps, Rancocas is five hundred feet wide. Who calls that a creek?

Now I understand why there's so much stuff there!

Nice relics
Congrats

That is one large collection of beautiful bottles, congratulations! :notworthy:

The Rancocas Creek may be that wide as it gets closer to the Delaware River (paulb 104) but up along the headwaters and for many miles downstream it is only 50-80 feet wide.

I like that Pharmacy bottle, and the way you have displayed them on the shelf.

It's tough finding whole fruit jars because people hardly ever threw those away ...Good job!

up here in minnesota plenty of little creeks , i have also seen parts of steamers in the river, out there you never know. the river runs wild ,but times the wild just sits there and lets you finds the preciousness, yes it may be there, heh heh.
.

Very cool saves. Love the little purple one. Will look nice sitting in a window.
