5 ringer?

Never found a lead 5 ringer before. It is 11 mm and has a rounded top.
Any idea what age gun and type of gun would have shot this type of bullet?
Found lots of 4's, but never a 5.

Lots of different bullets for lots of different pistols, revolvers and rifles.

As 11 mm translates to .43 caliber it could be a .43 Spanish or .43 Egyptian or .43 Mauser (11x60mm)

Adding to what Charlie_P. told you... there are many "modern era" cast lead bullets which have 3, 4, or 5, or even 6 body-grooves. You can view some of them, listed in order of their caliber, at the following link. Note, there's more than one page of them. The company even sells bulletmolds so Blackpowder shooters can cast their own bullets.
