Went to this place for the first time and took my 3 yr old girl for the first time. She was exited to be looking for treasure. While I was digging a hole she walked over with the knife, her first surface find [emoji15]. It was closed and she brought it straight to me, so I congratulated her and we dug a few more holes. Went back the next day for a proper hunt. I think the ring is silver though very, very thin and no marking. Going back ASAP to find the silver coins.

Great day detecting, especially since your daughter was with you! She won't forget it!

Nice hunt. I hope your daughter continues to join you and makes many more finds of her own. The ring looks like several I have found and unfortunately mine were all aluminum. I think your is too, but check it out to be sure. It is hard to be certain from a picture.

Good work and keep swingin. The silver is hiding there somewhere.

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Smart girl good to have fun as a family if you ever find you detector missing she's got it lol. Great post. Tommy

Great way to spend time with your daughter. Mine use to detect with me all the time, (still does periodically and she's 33 now). The memories are the best. Congrats on your finds.

It there are wheats, you will hit on a silver sooner or later. That is my experience from dectecting a lot of 1950's schools around here.

Great that your daughter is having fun. My 11 year old daughter has been out with me a couple of times and has enjoyed it.

Kevin
