Went out Tuesday evening for some detecting. Didn't find any wheats, but did find a 1951 dime. There were also some dirt piles there, not sure where they came from but had lots of red brick and square nails so I played in the dirt to check it out. Found the buckle and other unknown copper item in there.

The brass piece above the golf ball is a drip oiler from a hit & miss engine. Being nickel plated I would say De laval cream separator engine from the AG class of the old school?

I bet those piles of dirt you mentioned are mole hills. I’m fighting those pests in my yard. If you could teach one to find coins you could retire!
Look like graboid dirt piles to me (see the movie Tremors)
