.54 cal Burnside

Had a gorgeous day to hunt here in central VA.

I was only able to turn up one lone bullet, a .54 cal Burnside, along with a ton of ferrous material (need I.D. on some, check 'What Is It' if you're interested). All-in-all still a great day to be in the field.

A very nice example you got there, Burnside Bullets don't seem to be as common as 'most' of the popular carbine used in the War.

That's my experience.
