54p wheatie after 12 month search

I have been crhing for 12 months. I've found 9 Indians, 4,450 wheaties, 1 1909 vdb, 4 43 steel, and 78% of the entire 1909 through 1958 wheatie collection after searching over $7,500 in pennies. This morning I finally found the 54p. When I put it in the book I was surprised to see that 71.9 million of these were made. Has anybody else had problems finding a certain year and mint mark of a coin that you would think would not be so difficult. PJ

54P is a tough date to get. I have only 14 of them (Compared to 104 - 1954D and 41 - 1954S) I also only have 6 of the 1955S, so that one is less than the 54P to me. After those two I have to go all the way back to 1942S to find a copper penny where I have less than 20 (and I have 19 of those.)

So a tougher find than most. Good job.
