Was Weary This Morning and unsure how Long I would Last. My Legs Felt Worn Out.

also Took awhile to find a Place where it wasn't Raining this Morning.
Ended up Here

Sorry No on-site Pics this Time,
after awhile I looked up & saw cars & people :(
When I asked what was up , they told me Family Reunion :(
so my day there ended abruptly.
when I threw Myself Out.
there were too many People for me to be comfortable taking Pics of Them.

I wasn't ready to go home, But Forgot about the old 1 room school house
Just Next to the Grounds

and instead headed to Gratz.
Unfortunately there was a Family Outing of some type There also :(
and it was still Raining.

From There I went to Spring Glen. Also Raining & My back started Stiffening up by then.

So Early Quit :(

THAT is a beautiful Pop Top

Not a bad day! We've had much worse...I only lasted 45 mins yesterday, actually got onto a fairgrounds I've been eyeing when we go camping in that area, but the heat and humidity were too much. If ANY breeze had been blowing it would've made a big difference, but was dead still. Congrats on getting out..Ddf.

I go by a Fairgrounds allot.

Biggest Problems, besides no shade except what the buildings cause,
it's Loaded with Can Tabs & Zinclons.
Place has Given me a Colonial Coin, a Shield Nickel & Barber Dimes.
but
With my Back, I really don't want to Wear myself out on Tabs & Zinclons :laughing7:

I never made it onto the actual fairgrounds, instead hunted a parking area near the entrance. I've hunted there a few times in the lower, overflow parking area with a couple silvers, one being a 1916 Mercury dime (D delete). We're camping again in the fall so I'm looking forward to cooler days and spending quality time there. The parking area was LOADED with cans, finally quit digging them when I got an overload tone that I could hear with the coil a foot above the grass. Fall is my favorite season, plus crops will be coming off and we have a couple great field permissions to hit. Ddf.

Nice photos and you got some battery money.

Made a good attempt to put in some therapy swinging the coil. Nice finds

Good for you Jeff,,
Good that you got out,
Congrats on your finds.

A bad day out hunting is better than a good day cooped up inside. Thanks for sharing Jeff, hope ya back gets to feeling better... "D"
