Blunt arrow hunting tip for small game . I do not see how you could adjust to grab and hold a drill bit . An arrow would press up against the seat just under the tip . The one you found looks to be older and used glue to hold the tip . This one is newer and you screw it in . It weighs 100 gr . Can you weight it ?

There would have been a stop spring between the arrow seat and tip . My guess is the spring was ruined when shot and the arrow was wood and rotted . Just my guess anyway .Is it the size of an arrow tip/ point ?
