I had a great day digging yesterday. My friend and I tried tried a new spot and it is a great one! Pictured are my finds that include 58 mostly Confederate bullets.

Next up is an interesting bullet that I think is a Confederate Kerr Sharpshooter's bullet...

And then a cool Gardner with a hole in it's side...

An interesting shell fragment. It is one of two I found and am not really sure yet what kind it is...

The best find goes to my buddy with this North Carolina button...

Here are three Gardner's from the same area. Notice how much smaller the two are since they have been tumbled for years in a bedrock pocket. They were all the same size at one time...

Thanks for checking out my post!

I don't know. I have it up on another forum for id. I was thinking Dyer too, but have never seen one with a fuse like this. You have any ideas? Thanks...

This just in... it has been identified as a Schenkl with the faint remnants of a combination fuse.

Nice finds AC!! Some CSA lead is good anytime of the year. The wear patterns on those Gardners is interesting. WTG and won't an aquachigger drown???-LOL. Quindy.

That it is....Sweet find. I remember you now from the D.I.V. this year. We spoke about the Minelab machines. You are a class act and very hospitable. Congrats on locating such an awesome spot

Congrats on some fine CW Relics. I love the number of Gardners and Ring Tail Sharps that you found in that picture!~ :icon_thumleft: :icon_thumleft:

Here's a short video of the hunt if you are interested. Lots of underwater action. More to come soon....

Wow, you're on fire. Have your most recent posts been from the same spot?

I've been working quite a few different spots recently. I like to keep changing up the scenery.

Man you are killing the relics, I'm surprised you haven't found any plates in the last couple of spots you hunted. I've never seen a fuze like the one in that ball, awesome! HH
