Had to run into town today, and decided to use that as an excuse to try and find some rare Saturday silver. Nothing better to do as the weather isn't going to allow me to dirtfish as I had intended.

Quarters: skunk
Dimes: skunk
Nickels: 2 wars ('43 d,s)

I haven't checked my dime average lately, nor do I really even care to, but its got to be getting near 1 silver per $1000 if it hasn't surpassed that mark already. The wars were a nice surprise. I typically average about 1 war per $200, and have never pulled a buffalo let alone a "V". It wasn't a great batch of nickels - outside of the silver - as there were only 6 pre-60s including the wars. Still, the wars is what I was really after and you'll never hear me complain about finding 2 in only 30 rolls. :icon_thumleft:

Gonna try to squeeze in 2 road trips next week. Time to get serious. ;D HH everyone!

you deserve it!

Thanks for your factual comments too! hh

I never hunt on Saturday...it is the silver Sabbath :laughing7:

Not really...golf usually keeps me busy until the banks are closed.

Nice pick up on the war nicks.

HH,

Really nice pickup on that 43-D war nick. Lowest mintage coin in the war nickel series @ 15.3MM. 1943-D consistently eludes me!!!
