Got 7 40% out of the halves, and my first '87, I was so happy to see that mirrory finish !! I also got a '71 that looks like a mid-MS grade coin, it's really pretty. The halves came from a bank in a tiny town near my home, they are all bank-rolled, and they still have $240 left, I'm goin back tomorrow.

Managed 12 wheats, oldest was a 1916, and an '07 IH from the pennies. I also found a '69 dime, yay !! instant profit !!

You're off to a great start with that Indian cent and the early wheat. The 1987 sounds like a proof,you mentioned a mirror surface. Does it have a 'S' mintmark?

Yeah, "S" and all, it's the only '87 that I've seen. Wasn't that a proof-only year ??
