I have had this token for over 30 years...I remember buying it from a GoodWill in Walla Walla WA.
I don't have a camera for a picture, so i am going to do the best I can at describing it.
The coin looks to be hammered...it has a beaded border on both sides.
It is just slightly larger than a penny.

There are five stars in a pentagonal pattern (five pointed stars) with a period at the center

I took it to a coin show once and a gentleman that specialized in tokens got real exited when he saw it...he took it to another gentleman and then brought it back...asked where I got it...how long had I owned it, etc...if it were for sale? I asked him what it was, as I interpreted it as a Confederate Token (Sutler?) for 6th Texas Volunteers...or perhaps Tennessee? He said that was what they thought that it might be, except that there never was such a thing...?
Any help at identifying this type of token would be appreciated, Tx.
