I absolutely love taking my boy out for a good hunt. Last week we found clad and some silver jewelry on a San Diego beach but we're back in the AZ desert so it's difficult digging again. Today we found tons of bullets/casings/bottle caps. He was getting a kick out if all the different calibers but his real joy came when he showed me a surface find. It was a piece of what looks like Indian pottery. Pretty neat to live in a place that can produce such a cool history and without digging. He said he wants to go back again. That's a guarantee.
