700 gold?

Bought a bracelet and the girl said it was gold plated. So I only paid a dollar. 3.5 g but it’s Mark 700. Not 750. Or 585. Never seen 700! Is this like 16 K gold? It doesn’t hold with 18 K as in but it does with 14 K. I’m assuming it has to be 16k?

Could be a custom made piece, I had an unmarked ring that was custom made that electronically tested out to 16k on the auracle.

12, 15 & 16kt seems to most often be from Asia. 20 & 22kt most often Middle East. I cannot give the exact source of that infro., it is something I wrote down some time ago for my own "quick reference guide".

Thanks i can take it to the refinery and they will scan it. But its 45 miles round trip. Thought id ask on here first. See what you all thought. Its only 3.7 grams too. So not a chunky piece but dark like 18k.
