Hello all,

I stumbled across this last night. This 72d is in pretty good condition, and where the initials should be there is a slight hint of something but nothing distinguishable. The coin isn't worn, and doesn't appear to be tampered with. Just curious of the thoughts of those who know more than I. Should I keep it, or toss it back?

Thanks,

JF

I can see it in the photo so it's a no. There has to be no evidence of the design to count.

Thanks, that's what thought. I appreciate it!

It appears to be very faint like u said. That's too bad because I imagine a '72D no FG in that condition would be worth some good money. I've found several '82P no FG's (including one earlier this week) but Im still looking for my first '72D no FG. I guess that explains why the '72D's are more valuable - because they sure seem a lot harder to find.

Good luck and HH!
