Love the tardis! Also never have found a Merc. Good for you! Congrats on the finds and the hunt!

THANKS :coffee2:

I gave up on this Place over 15 years ago.
Not sure why, Except I don't remember finding any Old coins here.
I Believe last year was the Fist I've given the former ballfield another try.
& The 1st I Found Wheats & Silver there.
of course it just May be My Memory, But there had to be a Reason I Wrote it off Back then

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Rule#1 in treasure hunting/metal detecting: NEVER count the time.

Good job on the dime... I love those pictures that looks like a place I could spread out a blanket break out a cooler and some picnic supplies and make a day out of it ,looks serine!!!!!! Something is always hurting when Im done detecting climbing hills ect. The older we get the more like Humpty Dumpty we become lol Cool post Jeff..

Nice job on the Merc and other finds.

Nice Merc. Looks like lots of acres to hunt, sometimes the areas you wouldn’t expect much from produce the best. Congrats

your starting the year off right.. 75 minute hunt is good..... Congrats,,,

Nice Silver and clad to boot. Cool looking place to detect. Keep on keeping on Jeff. Wtg

Looks like a beautiful place to hunt! :occasion14:

I hear ya Jeff. One year ago today, I had a severe fall onto a concrete deck from a significant height. (18 feet, shoulder to deck)
Fortunate I'm still alive & can walk & talk. Left side, shoulder, ribs, back took the brunt of the blow. Broken bones, ligament, muscle,
diaphragm & tendon damage. 10 months of therapy 3 days a week. Went out today with my buddy for the first time in over a year.
Heavily trashed area (plot of land which was part of old car dealership). My buddy found 2 stinkin' Lincolns & a 1950 wheatie. I found
1 stinkin' lincoln & a bunch of crap in a 2 hour hunt. I walked ok, but my left side upper body was cramping pretty good. Could dig &
swing with my left arm & could bend over fine. A little tired right now, but I know I can get out there & do some buzzing this season.
Little by little our muscles will get back in shape & we can get out to find some goodies with better efficiency. All-in-all, it was great
to get out there in the fresh air & to listen to the sounds in the headphones. We will be back in tip-top detecting shape in no time.
Just have to get out there & swing away. Good luck & happy hunting this season Jeff. Great post.

Hey ! That's nice you got out , you found a merc.
You gotta like that ! I haven't found a merc in 2 years - at least ! - I'm always thrilled when I get one !

Did you detect where the old parking area would be (The area straight ahead as you drive into the property in line with the trees)? In line and towards where the trees/bushes were in the first photo. Just a suggestion.
