Redfield got $1000 bags of silver dollars through the casinos. He died in ‘74 and his stash of silver dollars were auctioned off in ‘76. All sold in one lot. 407,000 Morgan and Peace dollars. 351,000 were uncirculated. They were purchased by A-Mark for $7.3 mil. All of these are now in collector/coin dealers hands.
