Halves are impossible to find in this area, no one will order boxes. When you stop at a bank it is always " We have 3 guys who stop in regular to take what we have."

Picked up $3 in halves 1-40% 1966 not bad average.

Persistence and patience go a long way in this game.
Develop a good rapport with one or two banks.
Eventually they will order for you.

Depending on your area, this may actually be a little harder than it seems. I am collecting a set for someone for about 1 and a half years, and I am still missing the Michigan D quarter.
