#85 today....and it's a doozy!!!
Wow!! Back to the not-quite-hunted-out-yet park today. A beautiful afternoon to be out and about diggin' stuff. Dug silver coins no. 85 and 86 today!! No. 85 turned out to be a complete surprise, a dateless standing liberty quarter (type II)!!
Totals for today: dateless standing liberty quarter, '44d merc (silver coins no. 85 and 86); 7 wheats ('20, '35, '36, '37, '40, '44d, '46d); '32 Canadian cent (my first George V; these ARE NOT at all common
); 10 cents play money (1954). todays clad total: $5.21.
Not a bad day all in all. The play dime did fool me at first (I thought I had my third silver of the day darn it
). All in all, I wasn't expecting to have such a great day, which more than made up for all the dog poop I stepped in
(maybe THAT'S why this section wasn't hunted out and had goodies....
). Pics below. As always, enjoy!! 8)
