.85cal. Bullet and other Civil War relics

Just got done digging a Civil War skirmish site, dug the usual 3 ringers and round balls but im a little confused as to this large round ball, from my research Civil War bullets only go to .75cal. Could this be from case shot of some type. Also found small bell and iron horse bit on the property. Please provide insight on large ball. It measures at .85cal, i measured the other round balls for comparison.

I had no idea the bit was confederate, anyone have a link with pictures of a complete bit. If it is CS itll be the 2nd CS bit ive found, the first being a brass officers, to bad i only always find half
 

Yep, sure is. It's in my relic book and listed as a standard and widely used CS trooper's bit. I have pieces of that same bit I've found. Hoping someday to find a complete one.
