Hi everyone!! Went out diggin' yesterday for a good 12 hours after another rough night at work (been a bad week). Started out in my "after work" spot, then hit two other locations, finally wrapping things up at about 7 pm!!
The goodies: '52d Roosie (silver coin no. 59; found only 1 inch deep!! Absolutely STUNNING near-mint coin, and, by far, the best condition Roosie I've ever dug!!); '19 buff (my oldest buff to date!!
); tiny sterling earring; "attendance" pin (has a cross on it, so I'm guessing it's from a Catholic school); 7 wheaties ('09 vdb (my second), '20, '30, '40, '41d, '42, '51d). Clad totaled about $6. The '09 vdb wheatie and the '19 buff were an old timey pocket spill (both were found within 6" of each other). Three of the wheats ('09 vdb, '20, '40) and the buff were found while woods hunting. I'm glad it's cool enough to get back into the woods. Oh, and NO SKEETERS!!!! YAY!! Pics below. Enjoy!!
