9/3 results in a little cash

Yesterday morning I headed out and was finding a few coins here and there. Actually I was finding a lot of coins for the area (9 more quarters). Then I happened to look down and saw that familiar color and shape. It's amazing how distinctive the US currency is even in water 4 feet deep with a limited visibility. It was a dollar bill laying on the ocean floor. As I continued forward I found another one. Now I'm a little excited. So I start to focus on eyeballing.

Bottom line is I end up with a $20.00 bill and 2 more $1.00 bills. If it wasn't for a cold I have right now I would have gone home and grabbed the snorkel gear.

The ring is a big silver with fake stones and a junk earring.

Funny how the new coins, especially pennies, fall apart sitting for days in salt water yet our currency can survive the surf and salt. Go figure! Canadian coins are even worse.

The least they could do is put the cash in a nice 14K money clip for you....and then throw it in the water.
