Wow was it hot and humid today at 9:00 o’clock AM i was sweating big time, if I was going to last for 4 hours I needed some shade so I spent most of my time under trees anyway I didn’t leave the park empty handed finds for today are two dateless buffs and two wheats also a part of a broken chain could be gold I’ll have to do an acid test on it ... Well done,, hard to hunt when you are sweating bullets. The chains looks to have soldered links.
That increases the possibility of it being gold.
Sure hope so.
Congrats on getting out.

Hot weather has me breaking out my Speedos and hitting the water !

Nice finds.

PIRATE THEM INJUNS GOT A SUN BURN ,NICE FINDS

Sweet nickels and hope your chain is gold!

Man you were out in that heat !
Glad you made some nice finds! I chickened out and stayed in the AC today.

Nicely done! Hope the chain piece is gold, keep us updated.

Congrats and HH

Nice pair of Buffalos and Wheaties. 5 links of gold would be nice. I have retreated to river banks and creeks for lack of rain and heat. I was out today for maybe 4 hours and did jump into the river for a brief refresher. Too hot for hunting sod in my area plus the ground is dry as a bone. :icon_thumright:

Congrats on the buffs, and hopefully your chain is gold!

I'll take some of your heat! I was out for a few hours today, and it was overcast and 6 degrees Celsius. I think that's around 42 Yankee degrees. I actually put a sweater on[emoji53]

I'd be happy to send you some heat.

Nice going on the goodies.

Did an acid test on the chain and its a fake ...:BangHead:

Bit late here...Congrats on the nickels and the chain links that gave a thrill to find... squeezing these targets out is quite the accomplishment.

I like those Buffalo's. Nice finds.

I tried peroxide soak on a dateless nickel and a faint date did emerge (1917 if I remember correctly)...I probably ruined it as a collectible, but wanted to see the date.

I also use peroxide it don't hurt the coin, now I wouldn't do that to a key coin but if you cant see the date then you would never know anyway...
