I bring this post up only because I am sitting here looking at all my 2011 finds and reflecting on how much work went into finding them. I started in May, and pretty much only took 3 weeks off for the year. Ive had many great memories, and was lucky enough to find 6 solid rolls, 3 each time it happened. But nothing compared to the first time...

I didn't notice the "65-70" written on the rolls when they were handed over to me in the bank. I noticed it in the car and the writing held true on the first one. I immediately looked through the rest of the CWR for any others with "65-70", and saw 2 more which also held true.

That has to be my favorite 2011 memory

Finding this forum and actually getting started CRH'ing. I haven't been at it long but what I have done is very enjoyable.

couple favorites in no particular order

- first day out I found 7 silver in 7 face, 5 of them 1964's
- my box with 40 silver
- my run the other week with 59 x 90%
- finding 3 solid rolls and hearing the "some old lady brought them in" story.

My first, and only walker....it was an ender...along with a barber and a 64....

I started at the beginning of December hoping to find silver to build a car fund. First day out I found $120 worth of customer rolled rolls. I found a 1955 Franklin proof, (2) 1964 Kennedy's and two 1968 Kennedy's. Easily the best moment. Beginners luck, I suppose.

I have since settled down to cents. They always bring keepers and they are fun for me (added bonus is that Lincoln is one of my favorite presidents. If Ronald Reagan ever gets his face on currency, I would be thrilled ;D)

My favorite moment came back in August a few weeks after I got started I opened what is basically a dream box for most CRH especially for Indiana. It had (7) 1964 Kens(2) Franklins, and (3) 40%. I've done several "good" boxes since then but nothing compares to the thrill of opening a box loaded with 90%. Plus this was right when I discovered silver was attainable by CRH so the novelty of finding it was at an all time high. Generally speaking Indiana is pretty dry but I've been lucky enough in 2011 to score some nice boxes and I'm hoping that will continue into 2012. The goal is to chase another box filled with those beautiful 90% edges.

My one & only Barber half. It was a great day as I also got 6 - 90% & 27 - 40%. I like this thread. HH Doug

So you are going to sit here and reflect over an entire 7 months of CRH and then you will force me to get less than a month? :laughing7:

Most memorable finds. top 5.

My first 10 string rolls into CRH, pulled 16 - 40% halves out of them, I was hooked.
14 - 50% Halves in a single CRW roll
Mercury Dime in CRH
1949 Silver Canadian Dime I almost tossed aside
2 Rosies and 1 Silver Canadian Dime in $180 worth of dimes.

I had a day where i found near 2 solid rolls. really was awesome, and never even knew my own luck because i had just started!
