Had the morning off so i decided to check out a few cellar holes. Turned out to be a pretty good spot, although not the easiest to get too. as soon as wheats started turning up i slowed down so i could maybe pick out a silver from all the iron. All the flat buttons were teasing me coming in perfectly like deep coins untill the barber popped out at 7inches. the tiny key was in the same hole as a 1913 wheatie, also found an interesting furniture plate with a womans face, a worn down CW Eagle button and a few buckles.

Awesome finds!, ive tried cellar holes in the woods and for me they are typically overgrown, full of boulders and roots and impossible to get to. Im gonna have to practice some patience and have at it again

So glad everyone enjoyed my hunt yeah ive been tempted to bring a weedwacker to some of the places i hunt, early early spring is the best time to get to them before all the overgrowth and bugs. bugspray does not work at these places, cigars seem to work the best, lol
