A bucketlister and more!

Made a bucket list find this morning along with a couple other good finds while detecting old homesites on our property. The coin is a 1857 eagle cent! A chauffeur pin and the heart buckle protector and I was able to find the iron buckle itself!

Nice finds. I love those licenses. I found one for California this winter dated 1937-1938. Flying Eagle is still on my bucket list.

That’s exactly what I do! I have many permissions but I usually hit our property when it’s crappy out like today. I have hunted them pretty thin over the past 5 years. Bringing in a bigger plow this year for one site to stir it up.

That’s one coin I’m sure is hard to find around here! I’ve never seen another one yet in person. I never expected to find one. I’m more likely to find a large cent. I have recovered a couple IH pennies there as well.
