A buffalo followed me home!

Hello Everyone,

I went to a gas station for a few things and got a buffalo nickel in my change. Somebody’s coin collection was probably raided by a candy loving child.

Last week during a 50 degree day I dug a few cool buttons, but haven’t cleaned them up, so will post later this week. For now, we have about 13 inches of snow on the ground.

Congrats on the Buffalo Doc. I got one out of a vending machine this year at work a few months ago and yesterday I looked through my pocket change and pulled a 1939 nicker for what i's worth. Treasure is where you find it.

Amazing 21st century pocket change find - a 1936 S Buffalo with a fully readable date and everything!
It's a good thing when the folks that run the registers don't know 'squat' about coins.

Until some of your snow melts maybe time to do a little coin roll hunting. If you can get a buffalo in change, who knows what you might find in some nickel rolls?
