A42124FD-F182-4043-9E14-E4B9D988A66F.webpWow is was hot today. It was 96 degrees at 4 o clock. Therefore I waited until 6 pm to take a jaunt out to the fort. I quickly found 4 musket balls so I got off to a pretty good start. At about 730 I got a 65 signal on the AT Max right next to an iron signal. I dug down about 8 inches and out pops this cuff size 1 piece artillery button. The shank is intact and has a back mark of dots, stars and circles. Thanks for looking!!

It's always good to see posts showing Seminole War associated artifacts. Keep them coming. Florida is rich in many histories and that period is just one of them:thumbsup:
