Came home last night to a voice mail on my phone. A waterproof camera dropped off the back of a boat at a marina. Also had notification of some sunglasses at another marina. So out I go.

8:30 am suit up and go to the marina on the Black River. They call it the Black River for a reason and that is because it is black. Suited up jumped in and found his camera in about two minutes. Get out and people were watching in shock. One guy lost a chair off the end of a dock and I told him I would go get it. Went down and found it. Got 40 for the camera and 10 for the chair. That works. Headed to the second marina. He lost two pair of Maui Jim glasses in his well plus a cheaper pair. Took me about 10 minutes but found all three. Again neighbors in wells watching. One said I will give you a hundred dollars if you can find part of my sailboat!

His well was 4 down from the glasses. I swim down there and he shows me what he lost. A large 4' long aluminum pole. I go down and there are lots of dock pipes down there. Come back up and he said can't find it? I said I just had to get my bearings. Went back down and found a dock brush. Brought that up. He said not a big deal. I said I don't give up that easy. Went back down and found it. A bit over 10 minutes for that dive. Got the clam for the pole and 60 for the glasses so 210.00 in my pocket today.

Then headed over to a historical society for a set of lakes to set up a display of finds and talk to people for three hours. A great venue. Met a lot of people and gave out more cards. But the best part was getting a map of a whole lot of surrounding lakes from the 1940's showing ALL the swim beaches not being used anymore and the folks there pumping me full of useful information. I was stoked and I think I left more knowledgeable that the information I gave out.

I am going to have fun the next few summers. I also got phone numbers from two people that live on private lakes and have pontoon boats and will take me around them.

I am positive more gold and silver will be following me home soon.

Tomorrow going to have a lot of fun and hit a place hard. Hopefully something good will follow me home.
