A camping friend..

Here's a friend who came to see me this weekend while I was camping. Stopped by while I was making coffee. I believe it is a Speyeria Cybele or also known as a Great Spangled Fritillary.

I use to catch scorpions here in Kentucky, but they are smaller than western scorpions.
Glad he didn't climb up in your sleeping bag .

I deal with black bears here and have to put food on a high wire between to trees to keep them out of my stash.

Mosquitoes are the worst of the small animals that I deal with.
