We made yet another trip yesterday to out Colonial site. Did more brush whacking then MDing, still managed to find a few more buttons.
We got permission to clear brush along the edge of the area we'd been searching and a small stream. It's only a small strip and where the boy found the Jetton. We didn't spend a lot of time there yesterday but, enough time to get it out of our systems.
It took us forever to clear a small area then 2 minutes to check it with the detectors. lol
The boy found the first button, one of about the average size we'd been finding. Then I found two, we thought both were Large Cents when we saw edges of them laying in the hole especially the second one.
The bigger button on the left we think might have been a two piece button, there' a lip on top side of button.
And the bigger button on right is copper, that button is the size of a silver dollar.

The Barber dime is only in pic for size reference.

You 2 are as busy as those Carolina Boys are! I hope your great relics continue for you this year. Love the buttons.

Come on PP, Read the full post, lol
The Barber was for reference.
Common mistake tho......

Can't blame him. I had to go back into my post real quick after posting and edit it saying it was for reference only. lol
