A couple hunts today

Hello all! Got out to a church today that goes back to the 1730s but the present building is from the 20s. You know the feeling you get when it feels like a spot has been hunted? It didn't take long for me to get that feeling... Not even a wheatie but plenty of modern change! I did find this bell, a pocket knife & a not so old Gillette razor. I'm curious about the bell, any ideas on the age of this? It has a pretty solid patina... The top appears to be threaded. Any help would be appreciated (I need good news! Lol). After minimal luck at the church we decided to do some jewelry hunting at a local school that's been great in the past. I got one junk ring, an earring and a necklace (right on top & a heart stopper, too bad it's junk). I also got a handful if clad (my buddy Dixie in the background). Not a great day by any means but still fun to get out with a friend & get some fresh air. Thanks for looking & HH!

The bell looks to be old. I don't know how old though.

I had someone in the What is it forum suggest the "bell" may actually be a candle snuffer. It does look similar to a lot I've seen online with the bell shape. I guess that would make sense as it was found at a church. Any additional info would be appreciated!

If it is a bell, there should be a nub on the inside where the clapper was attached. If nothing, then candle snuffer might be more likely.

No nub so pretty sure it's a snuffer. Hopefully someone will chime in in a possible age but may be hard to determine with these types of items. Thanks for the input!
