You would think I'd learn and that I'd know better....lol

I started the day off swinging solo today. Found a few Indian heads then texted the kid to tell him what I found. He couldn't go when I left but, now he was free and wanted to go.
Should have told him another day, we only had a couple hours to detect and it would take me a good 25 mins. to run home and get him then 25 mins. back again.
I just started detecting this place so I said be ready when I get there, mistake. Lol Picked the kid up and headed right back to where I just left.

Well, if you haven't already figured it out. We weren't there 15 mins. when the kid finds silver?? Just to rub it in he finds a IH spill finding 2 in the same hole?? Then finds 3 tokens, 2 in one hole and the other one a couple feet away??
What did I find after picking the kid up? NOTHING!!

Btw- his silver was a barber dime.

No pics of the kids finds yet, here's my two IH's. I also found 3 wheats, a 26, 27 and a 1910.

Your son is off to a big lead. You better turn it on if you want to catch him.

I still have a healthy lead... lol I have 13 silvers and I think he's at 7 or 8.

Dang man! That 1905 IHC is just spectacular! I only have a few IHCs and they are all a bit roached. You and the boy are really starting to pick up speed this year. Good show!

Wow amazing shape for pulling it out of the ground.

Hey ya gotta let the boy win every now and then, but then show him whos boss, that's what I do for olddude lol!!
The both of you guys are off to a nice start, congrats!

indians are great i never get sick of finding them i find a bunch every year on the old wagon trails

Both of these are the best ones I ever pulled out of the ground, usually they're toasted.

the ones i get are preserved from the pines they are useally just very green..

Nice finds! They look to be in awesome condition as well!

Sluice Box

whoa, Good score!

Nice detail on those ones, they hardly look like that. My favorite one is the 1905

Those babies are clean looking, something I don't find to often..Nice digs!

Great finds. I suppose his middle name is PRO because apparently he was taught very well. HH

Finally got a pic of the kids finds for this hunt. The dates on his Indian heads were 1902 and 1903, pretty weird how close all the dates were together. Then the barber dime, a 1901.
The tokens were all found laying close together like some kid was playing with them in the yard and missed these when they was done playing for the day. All three were car related and probably from the same series.
