Finally a day without snow.. 1895 Indian, toasted Indian, hem weight and this small case... Looks like Famtaisie on the side, looks like

a push button for the cap to come off... anyone see before ?? area approx. 1870-1920.....

I have a very similar object that turned out to be an early cosmetic case. Had a button just like that and was from the 1930s.

I'd say it looks like a blush brush.
Have you tried opening it?

I still haven't found an indian.
I did find a very nice Barber dime a couple days ago. :-)
 

Just opened it, slid right open, useable lipstick yet.... good old pig fat .. haha
