Hi all, I went detecting on a new field Wednesday for about 3 hours but when I got home I noticed a big lump on Benson, my dog. I put my finds pouch down and took Benson to the vet and then to the animal hospital where they kept him in and did lots of tests. Consequently I forgot about my finds pouch and it's contents until today, hence the delay in posting. The three hours detecting produced a mixed bag of finds including my best livery button to date. Anyway, I'll let the few pics speak for themselves and now go back to spoiling Benson:laughing7:.

Thanks for looking

Hi Ian  hope the pooch is fine and dandy, cool button, you don't have to find ancient stuff every time we go out, to enjoy a good day.

Thanks Chris, it really is my best button so far, better in the hand than in picture:icon_thumright:

One thing you've always tought me SS, don't class a field on it's first day:icon_thumleft:

Thanks "H" , and all you guys. Benson is my constant companion, he's just always there and always welcome. His swelling has confused the vets, it looks real bad, no signs of cancer, but he is now on a cocktail of drugs and such. I will do and pay for the best for him, but I won't let him suffer unless there is a chance that his life will improve soonish. Sorry if my posts are erratic for now, "B" is my main concern.

Thanks guys and gals, take care. Chat soon

hammered good luck with Benson he is awesome. He is built like a brick **** house. It's probably an abscess, a bit of infection, he will be tip top soon I say.

Good button, if you soak it in lemon juice for 10 minutes at a time until clean (rinse well with water & use a nail brush)

All the best for Benson! Give him a pet from me and our dogs too! Nice button anyway...
