A Couple Silvers

The boy and I hit a couple different sites yesterday each finding a silver. It's been a month since I've seen silver in the hole.
At our first stop I found a couple wheats and a old Boy Scout token, the token was made 1910-1914.

At our second site the boy scored first with 1950-s Washington. I found another 8 wheats before I found silver myself, a 1944 merc.
We were actually headed towards the jeep finished for the day when I found my silver.

It's been 2 months since I've been able to even dig a hole, ground still rock hard frozen here.

A month since you saw silver in the hole? It's been 2 1/2 months since I have had batteries in the detector! Hoping to change that on Wednesday. Congrats. You and your son are off to a winning year. Sorry guys, I'm sounding greedy having to go a month with out seeing silver. After I posted I realized many are still covered in snow or at the best, frozen ground.
I'm gettimg a little worried, the boy found silver his last 3 hunts and cut my lead in half....damn kids.
