A couple what is it items

The first item sort of looks like a sink drain. The second item looks like a strap holder/stopper it says Paris on the top and looks to say solid in the middle. The spiky things on the bar rotates up and down.

The first one is a vent, similar to the ones on jungle boots.... (the black circles on the lower boot in this pic)
