Got out today & MAN was it foggy! Went back south to the spot where I got my NJ Copper.

Saw 2 other dectortists hitting up some woods along the road to my spot. Humm...never saw anyone down here before....

Anyhow after wandering around with no real luck. I packed it in & went to a spot I've been wondering about.

After working my way to the spot I got a good hit & pulled up this winged pin. Was thinking it was military at 1st but as it's brass, I'm pretty sure it was just a womans pin. Worked the area some more & then pulled up this croter bell & scraped it slightly but not too much.

Finds were real sparse & then I got a decent hit & pulled this nice Sterling Silver Horse Pin. Thought of my wife & I've got to get the pin reattached.

No coins but on my way out I got me a nice button, marked Extra Rich - London.

The wings are really nice looking, may just be a stamping but a lot of work went into being able to make it. Silver Horses - those are the cheapest ones to keep - no hay, no grain, no barn, etc......Looks like you had a good day......63bkpkr

Thaks folks! The pin back was attached but fell off in my pouch. Definately gonna take it to get fixed & give it to the wife. I'm guessing it wa made in the 50's The other Pin is cool as well & was bent but I was able to bend it back. Definately a lot of work went into making it. To bad I'll never know what was in the center, but I'm guessing a stone of some type.
