A day in the Historic Park, and Another First.....

I found a dang frying pan in the park Yes, I carried the dang thing around with me for an hour until I made my way back to the truck . Well, another clad day, but I was happy to be swinging!!!

Historic Park! I'm surprised that they let you hunt there. WTG NOTE: I would have carried that dang frying pan back to the car too.

Now that's funny, a frying pan. Hey at least you found some clad to make the day worth carrying that pan around.

The frying pan was located at the edge of a 100' cliff in the park. It was about 5" down and it rang out as a solid dime (80-82 VDI range), however when pinpointing, the size of the object gave away that it wasnt a coin.

As for hunting in the historic park, all parks owned by the city of portland are open season for detectors....Thats why I only found clad . I was trying to find the spot where the others (over the last 30 years) have missed (ie. the edge of a 100' cliff).

About 2 minutes....1 of which was spent looking at it in the hole trying to figure out what I had just found
