Hey Fellas!
Late last week I decided to start looking more for older coins rather than going for gold which I had been doing previously. Earlier in the week I went out for an hour to a 70s ballpark that looks to have had some kind of track at in the past..And I found my 1st silver there! Woot! A 1952 Quarter about 6 inches down in the outfield. My other 1sts are a Buffalo Nickel and a beautiful Barber dime!
Then some wheaties too and what looks to be a piece of a brooch(maybe). No idea what kind of metal the brooch(?) piece is made of but it seems pretty brittle and porous. You can see that it would have been filled with stones at one point. Those finds all came from curbstrips and a total of about 15 hours of hunting for these finds. Pretty good week for me. Happy Hunting!
