A few saves today in Central Virginia...

Finally got out for a couple hours this afternoon. Between rain and watching grandkids, its been hard to find time the last 3 weeks! One of my neighbors just put his house up for sale, so I figure I should concentrate on that area while I still have permission. Unfortunately where the Civil War relics are, used to be a dump site. Literally rusty metal and broken glass everywhere... so I have not ever spent much time there before. Today I did manage to find 4-1/2 .69 caliber Minie balls, a toggle attachment for a shoulder scale, and a bayonet scabbard tip. Also eyeballed an early embossed bottle of "Hinds Honey and Almond Cream" skin lotion. Its good to get out again!
