I found these yesterday with DanDan and Goldfever...
The 1944 Merc is in outstanding condition. The IH is 1886 it is hard to read.
Then today i hit a spot we got permission to hunt yesterday but were asked to wait until today. The spot turned out to be laced with electric fences so the 2 hours i hunted i got to hear that lovely pulse in my ears...sigh...
First finds were mostly all wheats....Then i hit a signal at 2 inches...I was shocked to see a Seated Dime....then the next hole i dug was a 1883? Shield nickel.....At .5 inches....Then i found this flipper.....And my last find as i was walking to the car was a 1887 IH penny....Cool part was it was laying on the surface...I didnt even hit it with the detector...I just eyeballed it!!! Needless to say i only hit 1 side of the front lawn like a 30x20 section. I will be heading back in the morning!!! I need to get a loop to read the date on this nickel....It is so small i can barley see it!!!
