Lots of sinkers that for sure, and a reusable hook.A few finds from yesterday. Fishing weights, a penny, a dime, and a Norma .44 Magnum casing. Not gonna count the numerous pull tabs and tin cans that I hauled.

Nothing exciting.
Salt levels are mostly low in that area, it's the Delaware River. But, there is some salt crystals in the .44 Magnum casing that I found. I know this area has been fished for a long time and this location used to be a "resort" in the 1880s.Lots of sinkers that for sure, and a reusable hook.
It looks like those have some age to them from the amount of corrosion to the lead.
Could be just the environment (salt)?
So the lead is in fresh water or brackish?Salt levels are mostly low in that area, it's the Delaware River. But, there is some salt crystals in the .44 Magnum casing that I found. I know this area has been fished for a long time and this location used to be a "resort" in the 1880s.
The Delaware River is a combination of saltwater, brackish water, and freshwater. The salinity levels vary along the length of the river, with Delaware Bay being saltwater, and Wilmington/Philadelphia mostly freshwater. I hunted the Augustine Beach area which is closer to Wilmington (fresh). So the lead is in fresh water or brackish?
The 1880 recoveries are probably pretty deep, but obtainable depending on what machine you are using.
