At another decades-ago demolished house site in Eastern KS, I found.....

--Wadded up piece of copper sheet
--Copper fitting with a hole in the side
--Brass bracket
--Brass handle with screw
--Fishing sinkers
--Unreadable Zincoln
--Brass button
--Small square nail
--Ceramic insulator
--Brass screw with the head bent over
--Oddball steel and brass screw with an aluminum or stainless steel (?) top

I'll put some of these on the "What Is It?" forum.

Brass handle with screw - Is a horse harness rein guide.

That makes sense, because it's not quite the right shape to be a comfortable handle for anything!

The white disc is not an insulator, but the wheel out of an old caster. Nice assortment of finds!

You're right. That thing couldn't be used to insulate wire. It would need a groove on the outside.

What a variety of stuff you uncovered!

I think you also have a tire valve or two there. Nice finds. Keep Swinging!!
